LingoWare allows software developers to translate and share translation files for their software applications. Developers may also authorize third parties to perform such translations. Translators use the Editor functions of LingoWare3 to create these translation files.
Once these files have been created, they are simply uploaded to LingoWare from where they can be accessed and downloaded by any LingoWare3 user.
To Upload these files go to the Sharing menu and select Upload. Select the application from the Dialog that opens, and Submit.
LingoWare has three components: the translation technology that allows English text to be captured and displayed in your language; a global dictionary that is used for general translation; and specific dictionaries created for selected software. Specific dictionaries have been created either by LingoCom, software developers or translators who have received authorization from these developers.
You may already have some of these dictionaries, such as ICQ, Gozilla and others. You can easily get more of these application-specific translation files through the Sharing feature in LingoWare.
NOTE: To use these translation files, you must download and install LingoWare first.
To see and download from the list of available translations:
From the LingoWare program's Sharing menu, select Download Files.
Double-click on the file you want to add. It is automatically downloaded and installed in your LingoWare. Make sure that you also have the actual application that you wish to translate. LingoWare provides the translation only, and not the product itself.
