LingoWare Edit Menus

Following is an overview of the menus which are available in the yet to be released, LingoWare Editor. The LingoWare Editor is for developers and professional translators who wish to translate Internet and software applications into different languages.

The LingoWare Editor is a tool that allows for the program interface, menus and messages to be translated into ten (10) languages.  Below is a description of some of the menus and features of the LingoWare Editor.

Actions
   Download files - download translation files from the Download area in LingoWare's web site*.
   Upload files - upload translation files to the LingoWare web site.
   "Ext" files - perform various actions on the special translation files.
   Merge dictionaries - merge translation files.

Translation
   Words - open the words translation files
   Phrases - open the phrases translation files
   Exceptions - open the exceptions** list
   Sentences - open the sentences translation files
   Fonts - open font mapping list
   Ext dictionaries - open the external dictionaries

  
* Note that in order to download a file you will have to first select the file from the site and receive a key, which you will enter in the Download window.

** An Exception is a non-standard behavior defined for a specific class, dialog box or control (e.g. not to translate a specific button).
